7 Wonders of the World 

in English and Urdu

دنیا کے سات عجوبے

A group of students was asked to list what they thought were the existing

“Seven Wonders of the World.”

Though there had been some disagreements in the lists, the following received the most votes:

1. Egypt’s Great Pyramids

2. Taj Mahal

3. Grand Canyon

4. Panama Canal

5. Empire State Building

6. St. Peter’s Basilica

7. China’s Great Wall

While collecting the votes, the teacher noted that one student had not finished her paper yet.

So she asked the girl if she was facing a problem with her list. 

The girl replied, “Yes, a little. I couldn’t quite frame my mind because there were so many wonders.”

The teacher said, “Well, tell us what you have got, and maybe we can help you in this regard”.

The girl hesitated, then read: “I assume the ‘Seven Wonders of the World’ are:

1:To See

2: To Hear 

3: To Touch

4:To Taste

5:to Feel

6:To Laugh 

7:To Love

The room was so silent you could have heard the sound of a pin drop.

The things we devalue as simple and ordinary and that we 

take for granted are truly wondrous!

A gentle reminder:

That the most precious/wondrous things in life cannot be built by hand or bought by man.

طلباء کے ایک گروپ سے کہا گیا کہ وہ دنیا کے سات عجوبوں کی فہرست بنائیں جو ان کے خیال میں موجود ہے

"دنیا کے سات عجوبے۔"

ووٹ جمع کرنے کے دوران ، استاد نے نوٹ کیا کہ ایک طالب علم نے ابھی تک اپنا پیپر ختم نہیں کیا تھا۔

تو اس نے بچی سے پوچھا کہ کیا اسے اپنی فہرست بنانے میں پریشانی ہو رہی ہے۔ لڑکی نے جواب دیا ، "ہاں ، تھوڑا سی۔ میں اپنا ذہن بالکل نہیں بنا پا رہی کیونکہ عجوبے بہت سارے ہیں۔ "

استاد نے کہا ، "ٹھیک ہے ، ہمیں بتاؤ کہ آپ کے پاس کیا ہے ، اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ ہم مدد کرسکیں۔"

کمرا اتنا خاموش تھا کہ کوئی سوئی گرنے کی آواز بھی سن سکتا تھا۔

جن چیزوں کو ہم عام اور معمولی سمجھ کر نظر انداز کرتے ہیں وہ واقعی حیرت انگیز ہیں!
