Sometime in the distant past, there was a young fellow called Ma Liang. He was poor and kind and preferred drawing such a lot of that he drew pictures all over the place. One evening, he imagined that an elderly person gave him a sorcery paintbrush and requested that he use it to help needy individuals. At the point when he woke up, he tracked down the sorcery paintbrush around his work area.

At the point when he saw that individuals had no water to use in the fields, he drew a waterway and the stream became animated. The rich man said, "Draw a major boat rapidly. I need to go there to accumulate gold."
The young fellow grinned discreetly and drew a major boat. The rich man bounced into the boat and set out to track down the gold yet when the boat cruised to the center of the ocean, Ma Liang drew an enormous wave which obliterated the boat and the rich man was never found in the town again.

اک بار کی بات ہے اک جوان آدمی جسکا نام ما-یےنگ تھا بڑا غریب اور بھلا آدمی تھا۔ اسکو رنگنے یعنی پینٹنگ کا بڑا شوق ہوا کرتا تھا اور ہر جگہ پینٹگ کرتا پھرتا۔ ایک رات وہ خواب میں کیا دیکھتا ہے کہ اک بڈھا آدمی اسکو اک جادوئ پینٹ برش دیے کر کہنے لگا کہ تم اسکو غریبو کی مدد کے لیے استعمال کیا کرنا، جب ما-یےنگ کی صبح آنکھ کھلی تو اسنے پینٹ برش کو اپنی میز پر پایا۔
اس دن کہ بعد سے جب بھی کوئ غریب پریشان ہوتا یا اسکو مدد کی ضرورت ہوتی ما-یےنگ اسکی پینٹ برش کے ضریہ مدد کرتا۔ جب وہ دیکھتا پانی نہی ہے اور لوگ پانی کی قلت سے پریشان ہیں۔ انکے کھیت کھلیانوں کو پنپنے کے لیے پانی چاہیے تو وہ پینٹ برش کی مدد سے ندی بناتا اور ندی سچ میں وجود میں آ جاتی اور ایسے غریب آدمی اپنے کھیتو کو ندی کی مدد سے پانی پہنچا پاتا۔ ایسے ہی جب وہ دیکھتا کہ غریب کسان اپنے گھروالوں کا کھانا نہی پُرا کر پا رہا ہے تو ما-یےنگ اپنے پینٹ برش سے کھانے پینے کے سامان بنا کر انہے دے دیتا۔ وہ لوگ کھانا کھا کر بڑے خش ہوتے۔ اسی طرح وہ سبکی مدد کرتا اور دیکھتے دیکھتے ہر جگہ ما-یےنگ چاروں طرف مشہور ہو گیا۔
اسی جگہ اک امیر اور متلبی آدمی بھی رہتا تھا۔ جب اسکو ما-یےنگ کہ جادوئ پینٹ برش کہ بارے میں پتا چلا تو اسنے سوچا کیوں نہ وہ اس پینٹ برش کو چرا کر، بہت سی دولت پینٹ کرکے اور بھی زیادہ امیر اور مالدار بن جائے۔ اس امیر آدمی نے ما-یےنگ کا پینٹ برش چرانے کی نییت سے اپنے اک نوکر کو ما-ینگ کہ گھر بھیجا۔
جب اس امیر آدمی کو وہ پینٹ برش ہاتھ لگا تو وہ خوشی سے ناچ اٹھا اور اپنے ساتھیوں کو بلوا لیا تاکہ ان سب کو اپنا نیا قیمتی سامان دکھا سکے۔ امیر آدمی نے اس پینٹ برش سے بہت ساری طساویر اور چیزیں بنائں لیکن کوئ بھی چیز وجود میں نہ آئ، اب امیر آدمی کو بہت غصہ آنے لگا اور اسنے ما-یےنگ کو بلوا لیا۔
جب ما-یے نگ امیر آدمی کہ پاس لایا گیا تو امیر آدمی بولا اگر تو مجھے میری کہی ہوئ طسویر بنا دے تو میں تجھے آزاد کر دنگا۔ ما-ینگ اسے برے آدمی کی مدد نہی کرنا چاھتا تھا، لیکن کچ سوچنے کہ بعد وہ بولا ٹھیک ہے بتاؤ تمہیں کیا بنوانا ہے؟
امیر آدمی بولا کہ:’ میرے لیے اک سونے کا پہاڑ بناؤ، تاکہ میں اس پہاڑ سے بہت سارا سونا حاصل کر سکوں’۔ ما-ینگ نے پہلے اک ندی بنائی۔ یہ دیکھ کر امیر آدمی غصہ سے چلانے لگا؛ یہ کیا کیا تم نے، ندی کیوں بنائ مینے تم سے سونے کا پہاڑ بنانے کو کہا تھا، چلو اب سونے کا پہاڑ بناؤ۔
ما-ینگ نے ندی سے بہت دور پہاڑ بھی بنا دیا۔ امیر آدمی سب دیکھ کر کچھ پریشان ہو کر بولا لیکن اب میں وہاں کیسے جاؤنگا، چلو اب اک کشتی بناؤ تاکہ میں اس پہاڑ تک پہنچ سکوں۔ ما-ینگ مسکرایا اور ندی میں اک کشتی بھی بنا دی۔ امیر آدمی جلدی سے اس کشتی میں بیٹھ گیا اور جب وہ کشتی بیچ ندی میں پہنچی تو ما-ینگ نے جلدی سے پانی کی ایک بہت تیز لہر بنا دی جس سے کشتی ڈوب گئ اور امیر آدمی بھی کہی بہ گیا اور کبھی نظر نہی آیا۔
آخر کار ما-ینگ اپنے گھر والوں اور تمام گانؤ والو کے ساتھ ہنسی خوشی رہتا اور جیسے اسکو خواب میں بڑھے آدمی نے کہا تھا ویسے ہی ہر غریب اور پریشان حال کی مدد کرتا۔ ما۔ینگ اور جادؤی برش کو سب بہت پسند اور پیار کرتے۔
